BASEMENT COMBED WHERE BODY FOUND

Police brought search dogs and a backhoe to the house where a man missing since 1988 was discovered buried, and neighbors and the family of a missing woman said police were searching for her body.

The search Saturday was unsuccessful.

Rebecca Ann Crist, who once lived next door to the home where Raymond O. Fauber's body was discovered, also has been missing since 1988. Fauber's son-in-law, Robert Asbury, 31, has been charged with first-degree murder in Fauber's slaying. - Associated Press
