Loretta Smith Adamson, age 69, of Roanoke, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 24. She is survived by one daughter, Gail Mutter Bushnell of Salem; two granddaughters, Angela Peery of Myrtle Beach; Robin Bushnell of Salem; a devoted friend, Benson Shelton of Roanoke; five sisters and a brother-in-law, Enola (Pat) and Frank Brillhart of Roanoke; Margarette Puckett of Wytheville; Adrienne LeSueur of Buckingham; Inez Graham of Virginia Beach; Lureline Ferguson of Roanoke; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne McCauley officiating. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
