OBIT GRUBB, M.

Michael Dalton Grubb, age 32, of Roanoke died suddenly Saturday as the result of an accident. He served with the U.S. Navy and was employed by the Newell American Corporation. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Minter Grubb, grandfather, Theodore Roosevelt Grubb, and maternal grandparents, Roy and Pauline Lynch. Survivors include his wife, Sandra L. Grubb; one son, Bruce Dalton Grubb of the home; his mother, Hilda Jane Grubb, Roanoke; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie Sue and Steven H. Lafon, Vinton; brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Lori E. Grubb, Roanoke; a brother, Jeff Grubb, Roanoke; sisters-in-law, Bobbie Lankford and Tonya Wicks; grandmother, Ruth McGhee; mothers and fathers-in-law, Paul and Dianne Quick, Bruce and Raynelle Lankford; two nieces and a nephew, Jessie Sartan, Brenna and Bradley Lafon; also many other friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Charles Hoffler will officiate. Graveside service and burial will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the Fair View Cemetery. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
