Mrs. Clara Ann Stump Garrett, age 89, of Salem, died Tuesday in a Salem nursing home. She is survived by her husband, Rollin C. Garrett; a daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Joseph Cosner, Point Harbor, N.C.; daughter, Nelda I. Garrett, Salem; two sons and daughters-in-law, Morris A. and Barbara Garrett, Salem; Maynard W. and Nennie Garrett, Portsmouth; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, 1:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Dee C. Florey, officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
