OBIT-RATLIFF, B.

HARDY - Billy Ray Ratliff, age 48, passed away Monday, at his residence. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed by Precison Fabrics of Vinton. Surviving are his wife, Margie Sparks Ratliff; four stepchildren, Joseph Doss; Terry Doss; Robert Tracy Doss, all of Roanoke; Vanessa Niday, Hardy; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobby Wayne and Renee Ratliff, Hardy; three sisters, Mrs. Hurl (Ilene) Shortridge; Vansant, Mrs. Harold (Betty) McKinley, Winchester; Mrs. Ann Brewer, Roanoke; also nine stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 1991, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel with Dr. J.E. Edwards officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel.
