OBIT-YOUNG, V.

Virginia (Ellen) Hudgins Young, age 66, of 917 Main Street, Madison Heights, Va. died Monday, February 25, 1991 in Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Milton (Doc) Young. Born in Christiansburg, she was the daughter of the late E.C. Hudgins and Ina Pugh Hudgins. She was retired from General Electric Company and was a member of Madison Heights Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Thomas C. (Chuck) Young and her daughter-in-law, Brenda Young, Madison Heights; Sallie Y. Robertson and her son-in-law, Doug Robertson, Lynch Station; and Susan L. Young, Madison Heights; two sisters, Margaret Elam, Chase City and Wilma Jean Myers, Blacksburg; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. today in Whitten Monelison Chapel by the Rev. Hugh Bumgarner and the Rev. Robert Brubaker. Interment will be in Briarwood Memorial Gardens.
