DATACARD SILENT ON SHAKE-UP REPORT

DataCard Corp. officials refused to comment Tuesday on an apparent management shake-up at its Addressograph Division.

John Miller has been brought in from DataCard's corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, Minn., to head the division, which assembles credit-card imprinters.

Miller declined comment on any changes, as did a spokesman in Minnesota.

DataCard opened a 100,000-square-foot production facility in the Rocky Mount-Franklin County Industrial Park last summer. The plant employs 205 non-union manufacturing workers and 45 managers. - Staff report
