`SAVE YOUR VISION' EVENTS SCHEDULED

Next week is the 64th annual "Save Your Vision Week." Vision-care specialists are encouraged to recognize the week by participating in activities to raise visual awareness and help make vision care more accessible to the needy

Blacksburg's Breakfast Lions will observe the week by offering free vision screening March 9. The club regularly help to people who need eye care; it collects old eyeglasses to be distributed through the Lions Eye Bank and Research Foundation.

Steve Jacobs of Blacksburg, an optometrist, is participating in the "Vision USA [Volunteers in Service in Our Nation] Give One Day" program. He will donate services to provide eye exams for people who have been referred to him by Vision USA. For more information, call Jacobs at 953-0136.
