THIRD TODDLER DIES IN VIRGINIA BEACH FIRE

A third toddler died Tuesday morning from a fire that swept through her mobile home and killed two of her sisters Monday.

Ashley Burton, 2, died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, spokeswoman Rhonda Hammett said.

Barbie, 1, and Bridget Burton, 3, also died in the 4:45 p.m. blaze. The children were alone when the fire began.

The girls' mother, Brenda Burton, had gone to a convenience store to buy milk when her car ran out of gas and delayed her return, said the man who drove her home.
