BIRD EXPERT, PROFESSOR LECTURES AT W&L TODAY

Charles W. Summerour, visiting professor of biology at Virginia Military Institute, will lecture on "Birds of Southern Swamps and Piney Woods" at 8 tonight at Washington and Lee University.

Using slide illustrations, the program will be held in room 316 of the new Science Building. The public is welcome.

Summerour is a wildlife artist and editor of Alabama Birdlife. He is on leave from his post as a biology professor at Jacksonville State University in Alabama.
