That's not likely to happen, says Albert Mehrabian, author of "The Name Game: The Decision That Lasts a Lifetime."
The name Bunny has a highly feminine connotation but doesn't give an impression of someone who is successful, Mehrabian says.
"What's coming across is a happy, friendly, very feminine person who's kind of a lightweight mentality," he says. "People witha name like Bunny may not betaken seriously in the business field."
Likewise he foresees problems ahead for the Virginia infant whose parents, apparently Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans, named him Donnatello.
"It's going to be a handicap," Mehrabian says, "not only when he's in college but when he's in kindergarten and elementary school."
Mehrabian's message to parents: "Life is tough enough and a name can be a real handicap. Probably the least expensive way a parent can help their child along in life is by selecting a good name." - Los Angeles Daily News
