Sidney E. Bostian Jr. replaces Robert G. Butcher Jr. as chief executive officer. Butcher resigned last year, saying the government's restrictive laws stopped his efforts to expand Investors into a diversified financial service company.
Investors is the parent company of Investors Savings Bank, Federal Savings Bank. In addition to serving as president and chief executive officer of the parent company, Bostian is chairman and chief executive officer of the thrift.
Investors is waiting approval from the Office of Thrift Supervision for its plan of reorganization.
