Gardner, a Marine veteran of the Vietnam conflict and now chaplain of Mothers Against Saddam Hussein, will preach on Sunday at 10 and 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and weeknights at 7:30. \ OPEN DOORS, a national evangelical Christian ministry that has been taking Bibles into the Soviet Union for 26 years, will be promoted March 12 during a free dinner at the Sheraton Airport Inn. \ UNITED METHODISTS OF THE ROANOKE DISTRICT through the Volunteers in Mission program, plan to erect a Habitat for Humanity house May 20 through June 1. A goal of $10,000 has been set for construction materials. The group annually undertakes home repair and construction projects for those who cannot afford decent housing.
