SENIOR AIRMAN KELLY D. CALDWELL, daughter of Janice L. and Clarence A. Caldwell of 3033 Parham Drive, has been deployed to the Middle East with Operation Desert Storm.

Caldwell, a 1987 graduate of William Byrd High School, is an inventory management specialist based at Pope Air Force Base, N.C.

\ STAFF SGT. HARRY L. JACKSON JR., son of Jean and Harry Jackson Sr. of Roanoke, has arrived for duty at RAF Upper Heyford, England.

Jackson is a 1980 graduate of William Fleming High School.

\ NAVY SEAMAN RECRUIT STEPHEN R. BARTON, a 1989 graduate of Northside High School, has completed training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Fla.

\ NAVY SEAMAN RECRUIT JIM D. HUBBARD, son of Gwendolyn C. Hubbard of 305 Craig Ave., Vinton, has completed training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

He is a 1990 graduate of William Byrd High School.

\ NAVY AIRMAN JERRY W. HELM, a 1990 graduate of William Byrd High School in Vinton, has completed training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Fla.

\ PFC. BARRY WAYNE WHISNANT, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Whisnant of 2121 Kenwood Blvd. S.E., is serving with the Army in Saudi Arabia.

Whisnant, who is with C Co., 3rd Battalion, 35th Armor, 1st Armored Division, is a 1988 graduate of Patrick Henry High School.

\ AIR FORCE SGT. JOHN S. FELTS, son of Joe L. Felts of Roanoke, has arrived for duty in Germany in support of Operation Desert Storm. Felts is a 1983 graduate of William Fleming High School.
