ST. MATTHEW CHURCH OF GOD APOSTOLIC INC., 1422 Abbott St. N.W., will hold revival services Monday through March 15 with Bishop Charles T. Hash of Winston-Salem, N.C., preaching nightly at 7:30. Transportation is available by calling 345-0864 or 344-0563 before 7 p.m.

\ THE REV. E.T. BURTON is observing his 32nd anniversary in the Sweet Union Baptist pastorate. The Rev. J. Eugene Young of Jerusalem Baptist will preach Wednesday, and the Rev. Willie Turner of Price Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is the guest on March 7. Both services will start at 7:30 p.m. at 521 Madison Ave. N.W. A dinner at 7 p.m. on March 8 will conclude the observance.

\ PAUL TURNER, a Roanoke evangelist and chalk artist, will conduct revival services Sunday through March 8 at Woodland Church near Fincastle. He will speak at the 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday services and weeknights at 7:30. Turner also offers a program for elementary-school age children. A nursery will be available.

\ TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH has named William T. Singleton as director of youth ministries. Singleton formerly was pastor of St. Philip Lutheran Church.

\ OPEN DOORS, a national evangelical Christian ministry that has been taking Bibles into the Soviet Union for 26 years, will be promoted March 12 during a free dinner at the Sheraton Airport Inn. Alastair Barr of the ministry team will speak of its work and request donations. For more information, call David Leaman, 345-5345.

\ TWO WORKSHOPS FOR CHOIR MEMBERS, open to the public for a $5 registration fee, are scheduled March 8 and 9 under the direction of Michael Kemp of Nashville, Tenn.

Supported jointly by the choirs of Raleigh Court United Methodist, Raleigh Court Presbyterian, First Presbyterian and Virginia Heights Baptist churches, sessions will be for youth and adult singers.

The Friday evening training session for youth will be from 5 to 9 at the Methodist church, 1706 Grandin Road S.W. The Saturday adult workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Baptist church, 2014 Memorial Ave. S.W.

\ UNITED METHODISTS OF THE ROANOKE DISTRICT through the Volunteers in Mission program, plan to erect a Habitat for Humanity house May 20 through June 1. A goal of $10,000 has been set for construction materials. The group annually undertakes home repair and construction projects for those who cannot afford decent housing. \ PRESBYTERIAN CHILDREN'S HOME IN THE HIGHLANDS is forming an alumni association for former residents and staff at the Wytheville facility. The first meeting will be June 15 at the home. More information is available from Wynette Yontz, (703) 228-2861.
