BLACKSBURG NAMED TREE CITY USA

Blacksburg has been named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation. It is the first year Blacksburg has received this recognition.

To become a Tree City USA, a community must have:

A tree board or department.

A tree ordinance.

> A community forestry program.

> An Arbor Day observance.
