MARION-Mr. Alva Bert Harrington, age 81, died Thursday, February 28, 1991 in Smyth County Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Eddith Harrington; Sugar Grove; one son, Willis Harrington, Marion; one daughter, Phyllis Luquer, Ashland, Ky.; three grandchildren, Heather Harrington, Michelle Luquer, and Kelli Luquer. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 1991, 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Kenny Price officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Lawn Cemetery where full military services will be conducted by Marion V.F.W. Post #4667. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
