OBIT-CARROLL, R.

Ruth Farrington Carroll, age 72 of Salem, died Tuesday. Mrs. Carroll was an Army major in World War II. Surviving is a sister, Edith F. Swain, St. Petersburg, Fla. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sonny Miller officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.
