DRAPER - Ray O. Dalton, age 52, of Route 1, Draper, died early Thursday morning in the Radford Community Hospital. He was born in Hiwassee, Va. on August 22, 1938. Surviving are his wife, Sammie Dalton, Draper; parents, Matthew and Glady Dalton, Hiwassee; seven children, Jennifer Hall, Dublin; Jeanette Hollingsworth, Pulaski; Debbie Taylor, Draper; Deanie Bowles, Draper; Timmy Dalton, Pulaski; Gary Reynolds, Draper; Rocky Reynolds, Draper; one sister, Dorothy Duncan, Hiwassee; two brothers, Jackie Dalton, Dublin; Larry Dalton, Shiloh; seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski, with Pastor Billy Akers and Pastor David Shumate officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. Visiting will be Friday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00. The family will be meeting at the residence of his daughter, Deanie Bowles, Route 1, Box 77, Draper, Va. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
