OBIT-MERCIER, A.

RADFORD - Mrs. Alpha Landrum Mercier, age 96, of Radford, died Wednesday in a Radford hospital. She was the widow of Otis Mercier. Surviving are one sister, Lelia L. Mauney of Radford; two grandchildren, four nieces, five nephews also survive. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Gethsemane Baptist Church by Pastor Jerry C. Gibson. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home.
