COPPER HILL - Daniel Riley Conner, age 79, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 27, 1991, in a Salem hospital. He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. Surviving are one son, Donald Conner, Copper Hill; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen Sue and Virgil N. Sestito, Rome, N.Y.; Betty Jean and Elwin Kotary, Roanoke; one sister, Cassie Campbell, Roanoke. He was the beloved grandfather of twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, with the Rev. Frank Wimmer officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Puckett Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Wood Funeral Home, Floyd.
