RADFORD CONVENIENCE STORE ROBBED WEDNESDAY

Radford Travel Station on Virginia 177 in Montgomery County was robbed Wednesday, the Sheriff's Department reported. The theft happened about 9:50 p.m. when a man reached over the counter at the convenience store and gas station and grabbed an undetermined amount of money from the register. The man fled on foot and did not display any weapons.
