MORE EASY READS AT RADFORD LIBRARY

The Radford Public Library has added over 100 new titles to the easy-reader collection for early elementary children.

They can be found in a special section of the picture book area. Additional books from the "Stepping Stone" series have also been added to juvenile fiction; they're for children who are beginning to read "chapter" books.

With grant money from the American Library Association and Bell Atlantic, the library has added a collection of paperback picture books with audio cassettes.

In the adult collection, new titles have been added for test-taking (SAT, GRE, GED, military and civil service exam guides), resume-writing and job-hunting. Also new is a book and tape set, "Get Back to Phonics," to improve adult reading skills.
