BISHOP DUVALL TO GIVE SEVERAL RADFORD TALKS

Bishop Charles Duvall will be in Radford March 10-12 for a Lenten presentation. He will speak on "The Story: Divine Promise and Human Reality."

Duvall, of Pensacola, Fla., has been bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast since 1981.

The first event in the three-day series will be held March 10 at Radford High at 11 a.m. There will be an ecumenical worship service, followed by potluck lunch in the cafeteria. At 7 p.m., there will be a service on "Promise" at The Presbyterian Church of Radford.

Duvall will speak March 11 at 10 a.m. on "How We Tell Our Story" at St. Jude Catholic Church at Calhoun and Tyler. At 7 p.m., a service on "Reality" will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, Fourth and Harvey streets.

Duvall will speak again on "How We Tell Our Story" at Christ Lutheran Church, Second and Harvey streets, on March 12 at 10 a.m. At 6:30 p.m., a service on "Hope" will be held at Central United Methodist Church, Eighth and Wadsworth streets. Call 639-0777.
