BID FOR BACHELORS MARCH 15 IN BLACKSBURG

The Radford-Montgomery County unit of the American Cancer Society will hold its fourth annual Bid for Bachelors on March 15 at Blacksburg Holiday Inn.

A social hour will be held 7-8 p.m. with a cash bar. Bidding on 20 bachelors begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets are for $7 at the New River Valley Mall, from participating bachelors and cancer society. Tickets at the door will be $10.

Proceeds support the society's efforts to fight cancer through research, education and service to patients. Last year's event raised $5,300.
