EMORY & HENRY HOLDS 2-DAY OPERA WORKSHOP

Emory & Henry College students and staff members will join community residents next Friday and Saturday in performing selections from two operas during the college's annual Opera Workshop.

Scenes will be featured from "Manon," composed by Jules Massenet, and "Gianni Schicci," a comic opera by Giacomo Puccini.

Amongh the performers will be Clay Blevins and Katy Copenhaver, Marion; Rick Brown, Meadowview; Michael Jenkins, Independence; Susan Wood, Clifton Forge; and Meadowview Elementary School pupil Lauren Carruth.
