REYNOLDS TO PAY PROFIT-SHARING BONUS

About 18,000 Reynolds Metals Co. employees will receive more than $27 million in the company's profit-sharing program, the firm announced.

The average amount for a full-year share is $1,620.

More than 4,400 Reynolds employees in Virginia received profit-sharing checks totaling more than $6.6 million. The company said Reynolds employees have received more than $123 million since the program began in 1983.
