David King hit five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 24 points to lead top-seeded Bland to a 69-58 semifinal victory over Shawsville at Christiansburg High.
Patrick Smith added 18 points and Jay Meadows 10 for the Rockets, which took a 30-20 halftime lead over the fifth-seeded Shawnees.
Joe Dowe had 18, Kenny Dow 17 and Wes Mullins 13 for Shawsville.
Bland will play for the championship tonight against third-seeded Floyd, which knocked off second-seeded Fort Chiswell 71-69 in overtime in the other semifinal game.
Daniel Crockett hit a shot for the Pioneers with one second remaining in regulation to complete a four-point rally in less than 30 seconds and send the game into overtime.
After Fort Chiswell took a four point lead in the extra period, the Buffaloes tied the score on two straight baskets by Fred Via, then took the lead for good on a shot by Dale Marshall, who led all scorers with 30 points.

Eleven George Wythe players scored as the top-seeded Maroons had no trouble dismissing Chilhowie from the tournament with a 64-45 semifinal victory at Emory & Henry.
The Maroons (17-4) will play in the championship tonight against Lebanon, which defeated Northwood 81-71 in the other semifinal matchup.
Chris Waddell led George Wythe in scoring with 16 points, and Jeff Goff added 13. The Maroons raced to an 18-7 first quarter lead, and the Warriors never got close. Scott Brooks had 15 points for Chilhowie, which finished its season at 12-10. see microfilm for box score
