DON'T TEACH UNTRUTHS ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY

I, TOO, have been surprised by the amount of news about homosexuals and their cheerleaders lately. They claim that they "are born that way." Why don't we examine what medical students are learning?

Dr. Charles Socarides of Albert Einstein Medical College has said, "Homosexuality is not innate - it is learned, acquired behavior."

They also claim that they are 10 percent of the population; a more realistic figure is less than 2 percent. How are these percentages supported?

When we educate children and young people in regard to homosexuality, let us be sure we are not teaching untruths. This could pave the way for an increase in homosexuality. THELMA M. MORRISON TROUTDALE
