Frank Coolidge Hodges, Sr., age 66, of Rt. 3, Boones Mill and 1316 Tomi Lane, S.E., Roanoke, passed away Thursday. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Dean Hill Hodges; four sons, Frank C. Hodges, Jr., Roanoke; William C. Hodges, Sheridan, Wy.; George W. Hodges, Joseph W. Hodges, both of Roanoke; three daughters, Joy Lynn Hodges Boothe, Clarksville, Tenn.; Patsy S. Hodges Griffin, Florence, S.C.; Kathy J. Hodges Sullivan, Roanoke; four brothers, James Hodges, Roanoke County; Jesse Hodges, Rocky Mount; John Hodges, Bassett; Clifton (Chook) Hodges, Rocky Mount; also nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 1991, from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Franklin County.
