Millie R. (Bertie) Phillips, age 92, of 3053 Glasgow Road, died late Thursday in Heritage Hall Health Care Center. She is survived by her husband, Columbus Wyatt Phillips; two daughters, Pauline Phillips, Elizabeth Shepherd; two sons, Ervin Phillips, Herbert Phillips, all of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Billy W. Shepherd, Donnie L. Shepherd, Billy Linkous, Wayne Linkous and Wanda Linkous; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Nathan Phillips, the Rev. Jerry Shepherd and the Rev. Everett Shepherd with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 Sunday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
