OBIT FETTERS, A.

Alice Virginia Huffman Fetters, age 73, of Salem, died Wednesday, March 2, 1991, at her residence. She was born on November 10, 1917, was a member of Salem Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Botetourt Chapter #135. Survivors include her husband, Benjamin A. Fetters; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Ray Grubbs, Barbara and Dennis Harris, both of Troutville; two brothers, Thomas H. Huffman, Roanoke; James W. Huffman, Salem; two sisters, Cecilia Hannah, Richmond; Mildred Huffman, Roanoke; also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Carder-Tharp Funeral Home and Crematory, Bedford.
