Mrs. Ayvonne Estelle Lewis Trope, age 67, of 1202 Berry Hill Road, South Boston, Va., died March 1, 1991, at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond. She was born in Burkeville, Va. on January 2, 1924. She was the daughter of Mr. Charles Edward Lewis and Mrs. Mary George Lewis and was married to Edward Charles Trope. Mrs. Trope is survived by one son, Edward Charles Trope Jr. of Richmond; two daughters, Laura Thorpe Bentle of Lakeland, Fla.; Carol Trope Simonini of Warner Robins, Ga.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Agnes Green, Elsie Moore, Mary Lee Kidd, all of South Boston; Randolph M. Lewis of Richmond; Eugene Lewis of Mt. Laurel. Graveside services for Mrs. Trope will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Berry Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Helstrom conducting the service. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home Sunday from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Berry Hill Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
