RADFORD WOMEN FALL TO SECOND-HALF SURGE

George Mason rallied in the second half to knock off RAdford 62-57 in non-conference women's basketball Saturday at the Dedmon Center.

The Patriots (17-10) who got 13 points each from Antoinette Battle and Monique Hilton, shot 50 percent (12-for-24) from the field in the second half to erase a two-point halftime deficit.

Becky Hardin and Tammie Crown each scored 15 points to lead the Highlanders (10-17), but both players fouled out late in the game.
