BUSH WANTS NATIONS TO WORK TOGETHER

I STRONGLY disagree with Peggy Bailey's beliefs (letter, Feb. 5), as do many well-informed Americans.

The president's call for a "new world order" is a simple one. He asks that all nations work together so the people of the world can enjoy the same prosperity that we enjoy. This merely entails opening each other's doors so we can pave the way for a better life and a higher standard of living.

Where in these words do we find such terms as totalitarian, socialist, tyranny or denial of rights? How can people make that mistake with our president's call for peace? CHRIS FAULSTICH LEXINGTON
