MILL MOUNTAIN IS BEAUTIFUL AS IT IS

ON FEB. 4 I decided to eat my lunch at the Mill Mountain Star. I walked around a lot for exercise; the weather and view were beautiful.

I then went to the zoo. I adore all the animals, especially Ruby the tiger. They were all very responsive, clean, happy and well-fed.

I have seen in our newspaper letters that were not complimentary to the zoo. I feel it has a lot to offer. But it still needs more space, money, etc.

It is a treat to be able to buy a ticket to the zoo for one year for only $10. Well worth that and more. The drive up there is beautiful, and my husband and I have often seen deer and wild turkeys.

Keep the mountain as it is, except that a small restaurant, where Mill Mountain Theater burned out, would be perfect. ANN M. BUSH ROANOKE
