AUSTIN-CAMPBELL
Tina Gaye Campbell and Brian Stacy Austin were married March 2, 1991, in
First Baptist Church. Dr. Charles Fuller officiated. The reception was held at
Phelps Hall. The maid of honor was Shanda Snider, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Lisa Powers and Susan Curtis, friends of the bride. Junior
bridesmaid was Allison Campbell, niece of the bride. The flowergirls were
Katie Campbell and Kara Campbell, nieces of the bride. The best man was Mark
Pugh, friend of the groom, of Rocky Mount. The ushers were Brian Arrington of
Rocky Mount; Brian Layman of Rocky Mount; James Bowling of Ferrum, friends of
the groom; Dennis Campbell, and Kirby Campbell, brothers of the bride. Junior
usher was Chad Campbell, nephew of the bride. The guestbook was attended by
Mrs. Amy Williams, friend of the bride. The bride wore a gown of white satin
with reembroidered alecron lace, skirt was mermaid style with scalloped lace
panel, train was ruffled trimmed with pearls and iridescent beading. She
carried a bouquet of cascading roses carried on her mother's bible. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Campbell of Roanoke. She graduated
from Patrick Henry High School and Virginia Western Community College with a
degree in Administration of Justice. She is employed by A Cleaner World. The
groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Buren R. Austin of Rocky Mount. He graduated
from Franklin County High School. He is employed by R & M Auto Body. The
newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a southern wedding trip.
