DUNCAN-HASKIN

Carol Haskin and Greg Duncan were married December 22, 1990, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Radford, Va. Father Tom Magri witnessed the ceremony. The reception was held at the Radford Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Haskin, of Galax, Va. She is a graduate of Radford University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Duncan, of Salem, Va. He is a graduate of Roanoke College. He is employed by Covington City Public Schools.

The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a gown of candle-lite satin with re-embroidered Chantilly lace. The gown featured a v-neck, point sleeves, and a basque bodice of lace over satin. The cathedral-length train was adorned with appliques of beaded Chantilly and Lyon lace. Her headpiece featured a wreath of pink and white roses and pearls. A large pouff of illusion was attached at the back with a waist-length veil of illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink and white roses and carnations.

The maid of honor was Marybeth Farr, of Fairfax, Va. The bridesmaids included Kathleen Haskin, sister of the bride, Kate Duncan, sister of the groom, and Deanna Gforerer. The flowergirl was Hollie Thurston. The best man was Mike Ashley, of Radford, Va. The groomsmen included David Duncan, brother of the groom, Fred Campbell and Jimmy Bain. The ringbearer was Ross Haskin, nephew of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Whitney Mugler. Wedding music was provided by Suzy Goodykuntz, organist, and Patty Trail, soloist.
