Pamela Gail Gregory and Cecil Gene Irwin, Jr., were married March 2, 1991,
in Greene Memorial United Methodist Church with Dr. Jerry Campbell
officiating. The reception was held at Lake Drive Swim Club in Vinton. The
matron of honor was Becky Hatcher, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were
Vicki Scott, sister of the bride; Daeva Barfield, Laura Trail, Gloria Murray,
all friends of the bride; Vicki Smith, sister of the groom, Stacy Sukut,
stepsister of the bride. The flowergirl was Chelsea Scott, niece. The best man
was Cecil Irwin, Sr., father of the groom. The ushers were Robert
Litchenstein, Danny Gregory, Neal Bowles, Kent Warner, Richard Limroth and
Jeff Hatcher. The ringbearer was Brandon Hatcher. The guestbook was attended
by Missy Boothe. The bride wore a diamond couture Cinderella gown. She carried
a bouquet filled with white roses and carnations. The bride is the daughter of
Robert E. Gregory and Gloria and Randy Sukut, all of Roanoke. She graduated
from Patrick Henry High School and is employed by Blade Runner Lawn
Specialist. The groom is the son of Rev. and Mrs. Cecil Irwin, Sr., of
Roanoke. He graduated from Cave Spring High School and is the owner of Blade
Runner Lawn Specialist. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after the wedding
trip to Florida.
