MOODY ANNIVERSARY

Sam and Alise Moody celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 2, 1991. The celebration was held at Arnold's Valley Southern Baptist Church and was hosted by their daughters. The couple were married March 1, 1941 at Natural Bridge, and are life time residents of Arnold's Valley. Mrs. Moody is the former Alise Rice and a homemaker. Mr. Moody is retired from Burlington Industries. They have three daughters, Brenda Berry, of Natural Bridge Station; Sue Marrah, of Harrisonburg; and Kay Wilcher, of Roanoke. They also have five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jonathan Berry; Melissa Wilcher; and Patrick and Ryan Marrah. Mr. and Mrs. Moody are members of AARP.
