Charles McLean Murray III, age 51, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 2, 1991. A captain in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, Mr. Murray also graduated from the University of Virginia and was presently employed with Krisch Hotels. Mr. Murray was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Frances Elizabeth Murray. He is survived by his wife, Hillevi Helmi Murray; father, Charles McLean Murray Jr., Louisville, Ky.; two daughters, Viktoria Franceska Murray, Louisville, Ky.; Frances Elizabeth Driscoll, Blacksburg; two sons, Jonas Weisz, Nantes, France; Charles McLean Murray IV, Roanoke. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2505 Electric Road, S.W., Roanoke, Monday, March 4, 1991, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., prior to the funeral service there at 8:00 p.m. with Father Kenneth Stoft officiating. Interment services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, at the Rock Creek Cemetery in Washington, D.C. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
