James William Hundley, age 94, died Sunday. He was a veteran of World War I, the retired owner of Hundley Painting and Decorating Company, and a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Mr. Hundley was a Past Exhalted Ruler of Roanoke Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. Surviving are his wife, Anita R. Hundley; a brother, Frank T. Hundley, Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Dr. Charles W. Easley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or a favorite charity. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday.
