Mr. Roger L. Pedigo, age 76, died Sunday, March 3, 1991, at his home in Marion. Mr. Pedigo was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a retired U.S. Army major, having served twenty-five years. He was the administrative officer for the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Marion until his retirement. He was a member of the Marion Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Majorie Pedigo of Marion; one son, Mr. Roger L. Pedigo Jr. of Campton, New Hampshire; two daughters, Mrs. Jean Terry of Knoxville, Tennessee and Mrs. Martha Wise of Floyd, Virginia; two sisters, Mrs. Cleo Fulton and Mrs. Wanda Griffin, both of Knoxville, Tennessee; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 1991, at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Dr. William A. Slater officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Veteran's Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to either the Marion Baptist Church or the American Legion Post No. 18. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
