GARBER ON ALL-METRO SECOND TEAM

Virginia Tech's Jeni Garber made second-team all-Metro and Sue Logsdon made the all-rookie team announced Sunday night.

Wanda Burns of Florida State was named player of the year, Janice Felder of Southern Mississippi got freshman of the year and Marynell Meadors of Florida State and Nancy Wilson of South Carolina were named co-coaches of the year by a 24-member panel of head coaches, sports information directorsand media representatives.

The Hokies (12-14) face Southern Mississippi at 3:30 today at the Convocation Center in Louisville.
