MARION DROPS LEE FOR HIGHLANDS TITLE

David Keith scored 24 points and host Marion won the Highlands District championship by defeating Lee 86-76 on Saturday night.

Both teams will advance to the Region IV tournament. Lee will travel to Carroll County on Tuesday night, and Marion will play host to Graham the same night.

Trailing at halftime, Marion outscored the Generals 42-30 in the second half. Shannon Archer added 18 points and Jason Null 17 for the Scarlet Hurricane, who also won the regular season.

Jimm Collins nailed five 3-pointers and led Lee with 24 points.
