Mrs. Valeria Puckett Moran, age 68, of Salem died Tuesday, March 5, 1991. She is survived by her husband, Curtis L. Moran; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Moran and William C. Swann, Sr., Richmond; brother, Gilbert M. Puckett, Mechanicsville, Md.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Henry Moody and the Rev. Lee Jamison officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or The Heart Fund. The family will receive friends at the funeral home.
