MUTCH, TWO EAGLES MAKE ALL-VIC TEAM

Carlisle's Justin Mutch and Roanoke Valley Christian's David Gaerte and Robert Kennedy have been selected to the All-Virginia Independent Conference basketball team.

The three players are members of the Southern Division team. Mutch, an All-State Virginia Independent Schools selection, led the Chiefs to the quarterfinals of the state tournament. Kennedy and Gaerte helped Roanoke Valley Christian to 14 victories, equalling the most ever by the school.
