The videotape, taken by a neighborhood resident, appears to show a handcuffed man, identified as Rodney Glenn King, 25, being struck repeatedly by three officers with batons as he lay on the ground. One officer was seen to kick him.
King was booked for investigation of evading police officers, a felony. He was treated at a hospital and remained in jail Tuesday.
