James Gram Thompson, age 84, died Monday, March 4, 1991. Mr. Thompson was born in Honaker, Va., on July 6, 1906, and was the son of late Manie and Zula Fletcher Thompson. He was retired coal miner having worked for Kopperston Mines near Pineville. He is survived by his wife, Lottie Whittaker Thompson of Pearisburg; two stepsons, Thomas Christian of Thomasville, N.C.; Bill Bob Christian of Princeton, W. Va.; one stepdaughter, Evelyn C. Thompson of Princeton, W. Va.; three sisters, Roberta Beaudet of Orlando, Fla.; Lorraine Snead of Orlando Fla.; Daphne Cavender of Battle Creek, Mich; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Givens Funeral Chapel with burial in the Roselawn Memorial Park, Princeton, W.Va. Friends may call at the Givens Funeral Home after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.
