WYTHE'S GREEN GETS HOGOHEEGEE HONOR

Allen Green of George Wythe has been selected the Hogoheegee District boys' basketball player of the year after leading the Maroons to the regular-season title.

Green averaged 17.3 points and 9.8 rebounds as Wythe finished the regular season with a 16-4 record.

Wythe's Al Copenhaver and Lebanon's Rick Thompson were selected co-coaches of the year.
